NOIP2024游记
Day 0 Around 4:40 pm, I arrived in Shangrao. After dinner, I was quite sleepy, so after writing down the NOIP precautions, I went to take a shower and sleep.
Day 1
Morning
I didn't sleep very well last night, waking up several times due to the heat. When I got up, I barely managed to make myself sober.
7:unknown I went for breakfast at 7:unknown and then walked to the examination venue. The weather was comfortable, with a refreshing breeze blowing. Thinking about the exam situation and psychological preparation, I didn't have too much on my mind and felt quite calm.
8:unknown I arrived at the school around 8:unknown. The layout of Jiangxi Normal University was very user-friendly, with signs posted along the way to the examination room and the toilets were also close to the examination room.
8:unknown I entered the examination room at 8:unknown. To my surprise, there was one desk for two people, making it easy to find a seat. It could be said that the environment was much better than that of Jiujiang College. First, I downloaded the problem data (PS: I didn't expect that the difficulty and the correct order of solving the problems should actually follow the order of the problem data), then wrote 4 program frameworks and a comparator, and began to take deep breaths to calm my nerves.
8:unknown By 8:unknown, I was ready for the delayed release of questions as before, but unexpectedly, the questions were released ahead of time this time (it seems that this time, no matter what, I can't blame the environment, although the examination room was a bit cold). I started the exam and roughly glanced at the content of the first two questions. The first question was very much in line with my impression of a sign-in question, with a simple and clear meaning, and the special properties and small data gave most of the points, so I decided to start with it, looking for ideas from the small data and special properties as I did with greedy problems before.
9:unknown At 9:unknown, the special property of problem B didn't match the large sample case, and I started to panic a bit. I couldn't find the problem after checking several examples and spent another half hour without thinking of a solution, so I moved on to the next question.
10:unknown By 10:unknown, I had written the brute force solution for the second question, and halfway through, I almost missed a key detail in the question.
11:unknown At 11:unknown, I had no idea about the third question, and I had finished writing the code for the fourth question. After running the lca brute force, I found that the data for 500 exceeded the time limit, so I had to optimize it later to pass. I went back to look at the first question.
12:unknown By 12:unknown, I had also failed to figure out the special property of problem C, and after trying another approach, I still couldn't get it right. At that moment, I was almost in despair.
12:unknown I couldn't come up with the special properties for the other questions, and I managed to get a little more partial credit for the fourth question.
13:unknown I left the examination room at 13:unknown, realizing that this was my first and last NOIP. I felt quite sad and didn't have the feeling of relief one might expect. I might never have the chance to type code in the computer room of the art building again. The bit of anticipation I had carried since the summer camp, along with the reluctance I feel now, all drifted away with the breeze.
Evening When I heard that the difficulty level was blue, green, purple, purple, I was stunned. The second question was said to be a pure math problem, but NOIP had never placed a blue question as the first one before. This was the first time in the history of NOIP that such a rare event occurred. I really don't know if it's my luck or misfortune.
